North Ryde Fitness + Aquatic has a 5 lane, heated outdoor 25m pool which is available for Junior and Adult Swimming Lessons and Recreation Swimming all year round.

We ask all patrons prior to entering the water to complete the following:

  • Appropriate swim wear is to be worn at all times
  • Please shower before entering the pool 
  • Have a towel with you
  • Ensure all valuables are stored safely

All patrons swim at their own risk. Spot checks are done at regular intervals by Management.

Learn to Swim program

Age: For children 3 years and over

Description: Our learn-to-swim program has 4 ability-based levels for children over 3 years old. This program accommodates children who are new to swimming lessons (level 1 – beginners) to those who are ready to develop correct strokes in all 4 strokes (level 4 – advanced).

All new students are assessed at our Centres on their arrival by our Centre Managers and instructors to determine which class best suits their abilities.

Class size: 4 to 10 swimmers (depending on the level)

Duration: 30 minutes

Squad Program

For Advanced Swimmers

Description: Our squad program has 4 ability-based levels (Semi Squad, Bronze Squad, Silver Squad and Gold Squad). We emphasise on introducing race techniques, teaching basic rules and principles of FINA regulations, perfecting technique and mastering competitive starts and turns. We provide opportunities for swimmers to progress to development and advanced competitive squads.

Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours (depending on the level)

Adult Swimming

At North Ryde Fitness + Aquatic, we offer swimming classes for adults for beginners as well as those looking to improve their fitness and swimming technique.

We also offer easy to follow programs which can be done with a coach or without. Have a chat to our team and find a program that best suits your needs.

Private Lessons

We also provide private lessons across all levels for children aged 4 years and over, as well as adults who are looking to improve their swimming in a one-on-one environment.

Holiday Intensive Program

The school holidays are a perfect time for children to learn how to swim as well as fast-track their improvements. Our School Holiday Intensive Programs can help you do just that. We run then 4 times a year (January Summer Holidays, Term 1 Holidays, Term 2 Holidays and Term 3 Holidays). The School Holiday Intensive Program produces significant results, regardless of the child’s previous swimming abilities.

Pool Rules

Click here for a copy of our Pool Rules. For a hard copy the pool rules are clearly displayed on the side of the pool.

Should you be lap swimming, we encourage you to select the most accurate swimming lane based on your swimming ability. Please ensure that you remain on the left side of the lane unless overtaking the person in front of you whilst ensuring that you’re not affecting any of the other swimmers.

We ask patrons to please be mindful of other aquatic programs should they be running at a similar time.

Waiting Pool

The waiting pool is not to be utilised for recreation swimming and should be clear at all times.

Keep Watch Policy

North Ryde Fitness + Aquatic  abide by the Royal Life Saving Society ‘Keep Watch Policy’, which means:

  • 0-5 Years – A parent or guardian must be within arms reach at all times regardless of swimming ability.
  • 6-10 Years – A parent or guardian most constantly supervise their children whilst in the water.
  • 11-14 Years – A parent or guardian must regularly check up on their children.

Should unsupervised children be in the water and without adequate supervision, management reserve the right to ask the child to exit the water until supervision can be found.
